Easy access to an extensive educational offering
The online service of the Tampere Adult Education Centre (TAKK) brings together those looking for an education, current students, companies, and TAKK interest groups. The service provides information per target group and easy access to training options offered by TAKK.
Better service and customer experience
Together with the customer, we implemented a digital complex service covering online services, the OmaTAKK site for students and staff, and a diverse training offering that makes finding suitable training options easy by using various search criteria.
TAKK wanted to add new forms of service to improve customer service, such as a chat service and a service that will automatically inform you when new trainings become available.
Integrations and brochure generation to facilitate online service management
The online service is integrated with the ERP system where vocational adult education data is managed and maintained. The data system automatically exports data into the online service where the data is enriched and used to auto-generate training-specific online Web pages and brochures.
Staff contact information is retrieved via the AD interface, so this data does not need to be separately managed in the online service.
Versatility is key in partner selection
The project kicked off as a concept phase where the online service was designed together with the customer in workshops. From service design, the project advanced to the technical implementation phase that included the proper service development.
