Fair Trade is a certification system for products grown and produced in developing countries. It is essential that farmers receive a decent living wage. The first and still largest and best known Fair Trade product is coffee, but today Fair Trade certifies hundreds of other products grown or produced in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean.

A modernised package service

Suomen Reilu kauppa ry (Fairtrade Finland) is part of an international network that comprises producer networks in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as a group of Fairtrade organisations operating worldwide. Its umbrella organisation is Fairtrade International.

The new package widely serves consumers, companies and food industry professionals by communicating the easy selection and wide potential of ethically and reliably monitored products.

From service design to online store implementation

The aim was to design and build a modern, fresh and approachable package service to highlight the well-known brand’s local role as part of an international producer network.

In addition to the site narrative, an online store focusing on material orders was also customised for the service.
